The protection of our members privacy is very important to cozydating. The following discloses our information gathering practices for our website.

As a registered user it is your responsibility to keep up to date on all of our privacy policy. We will however send all registered members emails if there are any changes to the privacy policy.

CozyDating.com is an online matchmaking service designed to provide an easy way for our members to meet each other on the Web. To accomplish this, our members create their own unique profiles and our matching technology provides them matches based on their pre-selected criteria. In order to do this, we must ask for certain personal information. None of the information we gather can be used by the public (visitors, other members, or anyone not employed by CozyDating.com or the financial institutions used to process membership charges) to identify specific individuals.

Information collected from our guests/members:

We use your IP address on your pc to identify if you are currently online, your IP address does not contain any personal information about you. We also use cookies to identify traffic that comes through advertising and to create a more user friendly experience. By having a cookie in your hard drive, we can identify you much faster on your next visit. The use of cookies is a common practice on the internet. Please check with your computer manufacturer to see how you can disable all cookies through your browser settings.

If you register at CozyDating.com for any of our services, you will have to provide some general information which will enable us to provide you with our services. We collect your email address (we do NOT share your email addresses with anyone), demographic information (your city, state, age and etc.). We do NOT store anyone's credit card information. All of the transactions will be done through a secured system. You will see a little padlock icon at the bottom of your browser and will appear locked. We may disclose your personal information if we believe we are required to do so by the USA law, which may include, but is not limited to a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on CozyDating.

Information submitted to CozyDating.com

There are two types of user-submitted information we collect: Public and Private. We define Public information as personal information that may be displayed on the site (such as gender, age and height, as well as user submitted photographs) but cannot be linked to a particular user. Private information is defined as any information that allows others to contact a user other than through CozyDating.com or allows the collection of information about the user other than what is displayed on the site.

PUBLIC : To accomplish our goal of bringing compatible people together, we must gather personal information, which may or may not include: customer-specified CozyDating.com username, gender, age, ethnic background, appearance, religion, income range, occupation, preference/lifestyle information and general geographic location. Much of this information is optional, and meant to be seen by members and visitors to the site but cannot be used to identify a specific member by name, address, etc.

PRIVATE : This information is gathered from members and guests who apply for the various services our site offers. This information includes, but is not limited to: email address, first name, last name, birthdate, credit card number or checking account information for payment, a user-specified password, mailing address, zip code and telephone number.

SURVEYS CONTESTS : From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, and age).

We keep your information as long as you are a member on the site.

We do not as a rule monitor members private exchanges, we reserve the right to do so if we suspect otherwise (please read our Terms of Use). We reserve the right to deactivate, delete, or remove any accounts on our site at anytime.
